Starting from a series of seasonal fashion shows of Russian designers which Artefact Agency (owner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia and Russian Fashion Week) started doing in 1999, became the new milestone in Russian fashion world. Since then the Fashion Week has changed several names – from the local brand Russian Pret-a-porte Fashion Week to the national Russian Fashion Week, finally changing the name to the global one – Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.
MBFW-R has proved to be a fashion heaven with classic, trendsetting timeless designs, which is setting the ramp on fire. This season gave the world, some really well know fashion stars. MBFW Russia has proved to be the first to set the professional directions and rules in the Russian fashion environment.
Let’s have a glimpse of some of the creation by the very talented young designers handpicked by the Russian government to watch out for, from this season of MBFW-R.
